My thoughts, in no apparent order, appearing at a time and schedule as i see fit. And if you've got a problem with that, then... won't you please stick around anyway? :p

Bad idea

I made the mistake of buying not one but two great games for my xbox the other day and have as a result become completely distracted from almost all else. I bought Portal 2 and Fallout: New Vegas. played through the portal campaign in two sittings and thoroughly enjoyed it. i highly suggest that anyone who hasn't played it finds a copy of it like right now.  And New Vegas is probably the best videogame deal i've gotten in quite a while. it cost me a whopping 19.99 at gamestop brand new. Its amazing how quickly this game's value depreciated in just 8 months since its release. it too is a damn good game, and one that is going to absorb a large amount of time over the next month or two.

In other news, i think i'm going to try and find a more regular update schedule, hopefully at least twice a week, and more if i can manage it

  5. Whoa! Didn't know New Vegas would depreciate so damn quickly; would I have known, I wouldn't have gotten it the week it was released. Both are great games!

  8. I haven't played it but from what I've heard New Vegas didn't really bring anything new to the fallout world. I'm not surprised it's so cheap now.

  9. armagedda - yeah, but i'm totally okay with that- its still really fun to play and addicting as hell. new weapons, new places, weapon modding, new stories, etc. and at $20 i can accept it as a really big expansion pack more than being fallout 4

  11. Well, I feel you on the Portal 2 front...I could just never get over the way people look, talk and move around in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. :/ It's just too weird for me. Kind of ruins the immersion when the gait is so broken. They'd be great games otherwise!

  14. Only $20 at Gamestop? Damn, guess I'm getting that this weekend. I thought it would be around $50. Guess they can afford to make the base game cheap - DLC is where they get ya.

  15. its funny, i was actually talking to one of the guys who worked at that gamestop and his explanation behind it was that because it came out so close to a bunch of other really good games, a lot of people bought, played and then sold their copy do they could get the other games too
