My thoughts, in no apparent order, appearing at a time and schedule as i see fit. And if you've got a problem with that, then... won't you please stick around anyway? :p

two posts in 7 days? new record!

just finished fallout new vegas. well, not finished - that would take forever - but i at least played through one of the main quest lines. so here i am, ~63 hours of playtime later. holy shit that game took over my life. and i'm about ready to start playing again, so i can see the other side of the story XD. i ended up choosing Mr. House, though I was pretty well liked by the NCR in the end, and chose not kill General Oliver. for anybody who has played, who did you side with?

I swear this blog isn't dead yet.... i think

Amazing how little you get done with nothing to do isn't it? i keep meaning to post and then putting it off to the next morning (which is kinda hard to do since i don't really wake up during what is technically called "morning"). there will be more from me soon, im not gonna give up on this yet, so please bear with me. i just still haven't settled into a schedule/rhythm for this summer yet.

In terms of actually putting up something worth reading, i give to you my favorite car that nobody has ever heard of-
This is the Saab Sonett. It is a little two seater sports car that was built by saab in the late 60's/early 70's. This specifically is a Sonett III (i believe it is a 1970, but it could be a '71/'72 as well). The Sonett III was in production from 1970 until 1974, when the oil crisis killed it. i have wanted one of these quirky little cars since i first saw one. And believe me, they are quirky (typical saab)- it is front wheel drive, the body is made of fiberglass, it runs on a little tiny 65hp V4 ford engine, and it has a freewheeling clutch. If you want to know more, i have included the wiki articles for both the sonett and the freewheeling clutch.

Thanks for Reading (and i promise there will be more material soon)

Bad idea

I made the mistake of buying not one but two great games for my xbox the other day and have as a result become completely distracted from almost all else. I bought Portal 2 and Fallout: New Vegas. played through the portal campaign in two sittings and thoroughly enjoyed it. i highly suggest that anyone who hasn't played it finds a copy of it like right now.  And New Vegas is probably the best videogame deal i've gotten in quite a while. it cost me a whopping 19.99 at gamestop brand new. Its amazing how quickly this game's value depreciated in just 8 months since its release. it too is a damn good game, and one that is going to absorb a large amount of time over the next month or two.

In other news, i think i'm going to try and find a more regular update schedule, hopefully at least twice a week, and more if i can manage it

trying to get to a regular update schedule

sorry about the gap between this and the previous post, spent a day and a half in maine helping out my grandparents  with some stuff and had no internet acces for my computer.  i was gardening and weeding and other stuff my grandmother can no longer bend down to do, in the cold rain, so i was kinda annoyed.  im in a good mood now though, cause my lawn mowing issues are no longer issues at all. finally got the mowing hookup for this baby, gonna help me tear through some grass.

regular lawn mower- 2-3hp for a walk behind, 12-15hp for a ride on. this sucker is 17.8hp and it wont be carrying my ass around (as it would witha ride on) so this is gonna be fun XD

Rain

sometimes i really dislike living in New England. i suppose it is a good thing that i got as much mowing done as i did, when i did, cause it'll be even longer by the end of this week

i freaking hate yardwork

Just spent the last 4 hours mowing the lawn >_<
and it's only like 1/4 of the way done. stupid freaking broken ride on mower.
because the ride on broke, i get stuck with the little walk-behind, which clogs up and shuts off if the grass is over like 3 inches tall.
this is the first time my backyard has been mowed this year. its currently averaging closer to like 5 or 6 inches... needless to say, i can't feel my right arm anymore because of how much i've had to yank on that pull cord, and both hands are numb from holding the go-bar. arrrgh

Something with a bit more Substance

To anybody that reads this, have you ever heard of "Suicide Note" by Mitchell Heisman? probably not, but you should definitely look it up. the full story behind it isnt very well published, and seems to have been covered up to some degree. long story short, Mitchell wrote a 1900 page paper entitled suicide note, published it online and then blew his brains out in front of a harvard tour group. im just starting in on it and it is incredibly interesting. if you google the title, some of the links to download it should come up, as he released it freely to the internet before his death. anyways, if anybody actually ends up reading this, you should definitely check it out.
